Most days, Rowan can be found working literary magic in the quiet home she shares with her husband, two dogs, and the spirits of the redwood forest deep in California’s coastal mountain range.

Her passion for fantasy began early, when her mother gave her The Wizard of Earthsea in grade school. At age 16, she wrote an epic fantasy, which shall remain in a box in the attic, but it was the spark that eventually became Sigils of Soul and Spirit.

When she’s not writing, Rowan and her husband enjoy adventuring. Her travel has included stops in over twenty countries, where she gathered a deep reverence for, and inspiration from, unique and fantastical histories and traditions.
